Welcome to the Hexicon Fantasy Roleplay Encumbrance Manager! Firstly, please do not be put off by this spreadsheet! It is designed for GMs and Players who require absolute accuracy during play and want to know exactly how a Character is affected by weight carried. At the beginning of a session gather PC (Character) information to fill in the yellow boxes: Character Name - name of PC Agility - the PC's Agility Statistic Strength - the PC's Strength Statistic Encumbrance Skill Total - the PC's Encumbrance Skill Total (Stat Mod + EP Mod) Strike Level Skill Total - the PC's Strike Level Skill Total (Stat Mod + 40 + EP Mod) Weight Carried (Combat) - total weight of all clothing, armour and equipment carried on a PC's person (Hexicon assumes that a pack / bag etc containing other kit will be dropped before combat...although this is not always the case) AT Increases Purchased - the number of Attack Time advancements taken by the PC Pace Height Modifier - see Table 6c on page 17 of the Tables Booklet Weight Carried (Total inc. Pack) - the total weight of all of a PC's clothing, armour and equipment including any carried in a pack / bag etc (this will allow a GM to calculate values for PCs who want to fight, climb etc while fully laden) Once all of the information is entered, click on the 'Re-Calculate Values' button and the sheet will fill in: Encumbrance Double Encumbrance Attack Time Strike Level Sprint Pace Jog Pace Walk Pace Exhaustion Modifier (values will be provided for Combat Equipment (no pack) and Total Weight Carried (pack)). Then, each time a PC picks up or drops an item, the GM simply needs to change the two Weight Carried entries and click the button!
